WayV (威神V, WeiShen V) is the fourth sub-unit of NCT based in China, making WayV the first sub-unit in NCT based out of Korea, under SM Entertainment’s China-exclusive label, Label V. The sub-unit currently consists of 6 members; Kun, Ten, WinWin, XiaoJun, Hendery, and YangYang. WayV debuted on January 17, 2019, with the single album “The Vision“. On May 10, SM Entertainment and Label V officially announced that Lucas would be parting ways with both NCT and WayV to pursue his individual endeavours. WayV will be making their Japanese debut on September 25, 2024.
